Most critically, the time between lessons becomes a “dead zone” with no speaking practice or visibility, preventing directors from tracking learning or proving value to parents and corporate clients.
Solution
A white-label AI learning platform that converts language academies’ own materials into personalized digital practice. It fills the gap between lessons with continuous speaking feedback while reducing instructor workload. Directors gain real-time visibility into student progress, enabling academies to scale, retain learners, and prove impact under their own brand.

I interviewed 10 academy directors and found key scaling bottlenecks: strong proprietary content but low adaptability, demand for white-label AI under their own brand, and distinct engagement needs.
Information Architecture

Wireframing & Prototyping
The challenge was designing a UI that could be themed dynamically. We prototyped a flexible "White Label" framework where buttons, logos, and color accents could automatically update to match a client's brand. We also iterated heavily on the AI Avatar interaction, testing different layouts to ensure the "Speaking" button was accessible on mobile browsers without obscuring the conversational text.
Usability Testing
We conducted beta tests with two distinct groups: Offline Academy students (teens) and Online Adult Learners.
Kids struggled with text-heavy feedback, so we allowed lessons setting to show more visual feedback and gamified badges.
Teachers found the initial data dashboards overwhelming, so we simplified the view to surface "Top Mistakes" and "Class Progress" immediately, hiding granular metrics behind a "Deep Dive" click.
Visual Design & Style Guide
We created a default "Unicorn" theme: Playful, vibrant, and character-driven, but built the underlying components (buttons, cards, inputs) to be neutral enough to accept any corporate color palette.

We successfully balanced the need for robust, complex data dashboards for administrators with an intuitive, gamified interface for learners. By solving the "Data Void," we gave Academy Directors the visibility they needed to retain students and prove value to parents. The result is a flexible platform that adapts to any curriculum, without losing the academy's unique brand identity.
